Supported Rent Supplement program
The Supported Rent Supplement Program (SRSP) provides practical supports to individuals who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. A support worker coordinates and connects recipients to services that support their well-being and eventual transition to or maintenance of stable housing. Recipients receive assistance in accessing food supports, housing supports, social services, and receive assistance in navigating legal and medical systems. The worker also provides support in managing day-to-day tasks, transportation, and life skills development to enable recipients to meet their basic needs.
