donation room

Our Donation Room (DR) is operated in a large basement space beneath the Women and Children’s Transition House, which is beside our anti-violence and admin programs. On average, 300 people accessed our donation room every month and 250-300 large and small bags and boxes are donated every month. The DR is a space much like any thrift store; open and inviting with items displayed. What makes it different, and one of its kind in Terrace, is that all items are free to community members who rely heavily on it to meet basic needs.
