A unique social service agency, Ksan House Society has been providing programs to Terrace, and surrounding area, since 1979. The Society operates on the principle that women and men are equal, and believing that the cycle of violence can be broken. Ksan Society educates the public and provides social programs, safe shelter, food and essentials to women and their children fleeing abuse and to women, men and families who are homeless or otherwise disadvantaged.
Our clients mirror our community makeup – infants to seniors, male and female, from the lesser fortunate to those financially secure, across all cultures, faiths and ethnic backgrounds. There is, in all likelihood, not a resident of Terrace who does not know someone who has accessed our services at one time or another.
