Support Recovery
Ksan Society has partnered with Northern Health Authority to provide Support Recovery Beds to Terrace and the surrounding communities. Through the Ksan Residence and Shelter building, interim residential services are available to individuals attending the Addictions Day Program.
The day program, combined with the residential facilities, provide a non-medical atmosphere to clients with substance abuse or co-occuring substance abuse and mental illness or other mental health problems. The recovery program is structured utilizing an integrated approach emphasizing relapse prevention.
The day program takes a client centered approach to wellness. Using the harm reduction model, services work to create a seamless system that promotes quality health and well-being. The program offers clients an opportunity to understand addictive behaviours and explores tools and strategies aimed toward overall improved health and wellness.
