Women’s Outreach Program

The Stopping the Violence Outreach Program provides individual and group emotional support for women who are or have experienced abuse in their lives. The Outreach Worker provides the opportunity for women to share their story, explore coping strategies, develop safety plans and create a support system free from violence.

Services may include local transportation and accompaniment to medical, legal and/or social services appointments, advocacy, parenting information and support, developing life skills such as setting boundaries, managing time, and creating self-care plans.

The goal of the Stopping the Violence Outreach Program is to assist women to reduce barriers so that they are empowered to live free from violence.
